Boylan's Black Cherry is one of our favorite black cherry sodas. It's a nice sweet beverage with a nice tart cherry flavor -- and we love the package. The old fashioned feeling only adds to an already enjoyable experience. Definitely give this a try.

At first we had developed a California type black cherry; fruity with berryish notes. It was good but not exceptional. So our focus turnes toward a traditional black cherry soda, one that would be hearty and flavorful, and could be enjoyed with lunch and not "get lost". Boylan Bottleworks Black Cherry's deep flavor comes from a blend of different cherries along with other proprietary ingredients. Older customers tell us that it is reminiscent of what Dr. Brown's Black Cherry tasted like 40 years ago.

Diet Cane Cola is a good entry into the diet cola category. Aside from not being able to figure out why a diet cola is in a line called "Cane Cola" there is nothing to question about this product. The flavor is very refreshing -- and the blend of sucralose and acesulfame potassium sweeteners get the job done. Overall, this product has a very clean flavor that won't let you down -- it's definitely worth a try.

Boylan's Creme soda is a nice French Vanilla cream soda. It has a light, sweet taste, that has a slightly bitter finish. The flavor is not too strong and results in an easy sipping cream beverage. This cream soda is definitely worth a try.

We created 283 variations of creme soda before settling on this product. The flavor profile was difficult because there
are no standards for creme soda. All brands are very different. Some taste like bubble gum, some like cotton candy, and some are made with chocolate or coffee. Boylan Bottleworks Creme is smooth, creamy and delicate like a sweet southern bourbon. This flavor is light, yet tasty, and can be enjoyed on a daily basis.

Honestly, we were a little skeptical of Boylan's Diet Creme when it first arrived. No one has ever made a diet cream soda that hasn't had an aftertaste. Until now. Boylan's Diet Creme is by far the smoothest diet cream soda we've ever tested. We could honestly consume this product and forget that it's a diet product -- it really is amazing what new flavor/sweeteners can do. Overall, we love it -- what else can we say?

Boylan's Orange soda is a top-notch orange soda. The flavor is amazing -- it is light, sweet, and tart. We were quite impressed with this beverage. It is absolutely perfect. Boylan's Orange Soda is so easy to drink, the flavor is 100% refreshing.

All orange sodas sell well on their appearance alone. Although our product looks great, we wanted it to taste great! Instead of creating a commercial lollipop-type orange, we
developed a refreshing, less sweet, citrus, tangerine-like beverage which can be enjoyed even in the morning.

Boylan's Grape soda is a very sweet grape flavored soda. The flavor has that nostalgic feel that we have come to expect from Boylan's. This beverage is easy to drink and is quite refreshing. Definitely a superior beverage.

This is our most daring foray into the development of carbonated soft drinks. Boylan Bottleworks Grape has an oaky Concord grape flavor – bold, full-bodied and unparalleled by any grape soda in the marketplace today. If this sounds like a wine review, it should!

Unlike many of today's gourmet ginger ales, Boylan's is not overly dry and spicy. They have taken a different approach which results in a flavor that is very sweet and easily drinkable. We also were impressed by the green glass bottle that was used in this product. Unlike many of the cobalt blue bottles that are used today, the green glass creates an old-fashioned and classy type of beverage. While this is not a major innovation, it definitely adds to the quality of an already excellent beverage.

Although the consumption of ginger ale has been in decline over the past 10 years, it is still a very popular flavor in New York City. Its mature characteristics - crisp, dry and refreshing - are what make it so popular. Unlike “ginger beers”, it is not hot and spicy but rather pale and clean. We consider Boylan Bottleworks Ginger Ale to be the most drinkable product in our entire line of sodas.

Boylan's Root Beer is highly refreshing and fully thirst quenching. Using sugar and / or corn syrup, this beverage has a relatively clean consistency. In addition, the flavor is sweet and has a very mild birch finish. This root beer is a top-notch beverage! This is
the perfect addition to an already amazing line of Boylan's Bottleworks beverages.

Although root beer dates back to the 1860s, it was not until recently that there has been a dramatic sales increase in this flavor category. This new popularity is due partly to the super-creamy style of root beer that is now being bottled. Even though these vanilla-laden root beers are tasty and have instant appeal, we believe that consumers will tire of them quickly. It is for this reason that Boylan had chosen to develop an authentic, traditional tasting root beer. Boylan Bottleworks Root Beer has a rich and spicy sassafras flavor with only a subtle creamy note.

Another fine seltzer beverage from Boylans. This one is the same clean and crisp seltzer as the Pure variety, but with a mild splash of lemon. We love it! This will definitely make you feel nostalgic for the good old days.

In a market that's been full of boring CSD launches, Mash is definitely an innovative offering. The first and most obvious part is its squat 20 oz. wide mouth bottle. The product is modern and relatively hip, which is a huge change from Boylan's other nostalgia style products. Inside the bottle, there's a blend of orange and mango flavors which have been helped along by the use of 2% juice (mango, pear, and lemon blend). They've sweetened the product with a touch of sugar and sucralose, which gives the product a near full strength taste without the harsh aftertaste of artificial sweetener. It's an impressive formulation, especially when you consider that it has only 100 calories per 20 oz. bottle. Overall, a great tasting and looking product.

Using 4% juice, this product delivers real fruit flavor that you won't find in almost any other CSD. There are light distinguishable hints of pomegranate, blueberry, and cranberry which work well with this sugar and sucralose sweetened product. The mild amount of carbonation gives the product a sophisticated feeling, as does its simple but clean label design. Overall, a superb product.

The last Mash flavor that we sampled is Grapefruit and Citrus Zing, which delivers a natural grapefruit flavor with a touch of sweet to the finish. Like the other varieties, this one sees a big boost from using juice (1% grapefruit in this case), which helps make the flavorings taste much more natural. The result is a product that's extremely enjoyable to consume. Finally, there's the packaging, which looks clean and attractive, especially with the bright color and the proprietary squat bottle. Definitely worth a try.

Mash's Lemon Peel and Ginger Root flavor delivers a moderately sweet lemon flavored base (1% lemon concentrate) that finishes up with a slight dash of ginger flavor. This combination does a great job of covering the sucralose sweetener that's used to keep the drink's calories low. Overall, it's a really nice flavor that's one of the more enjoyable reduced calorie CSDs we've had. The squat 20 oz. bottle is attractive, although reading the front panel -- which calls the product "a water drink" -- isn't the most straightforward experience. However, we think this product's looks and taste are what will attract and keep consumers coming back -- regardless of what you call it.
